PRESS RELEASE - IMMEDIATE The Pacific County Historical Society is sponsoring Garden Treasures II garden tour on August 22, 2009, 10 am to 4 pm. This year’s tour has a variety of events in addition to wonderful gardens. The Riverview Education Center is featuring their new greenhouse and sustainable gardening courses. The Grays Harbor and Pacific County Master Gardeners will be at the greenhouse talking about composting and how useful the compost is for beautiful flowers and vegetables. The Russell House in South Bend will be offering a light refreshment break for ticket holders. The garden tour includes a wonderful dahlia garden of over 170 dahlias and a wonderful roses, a low maintenance landscape, and a garden with a landscaped water feature.
